Welcome to PECONET we are a Wildblue Satellite Internet Provider. We provide Internet service to a large area located in North Central Iowa.

PECONET is provided by Prairie Energy Cooperative. We are an Electric Cooperative that provides several service to consumers in our service area and surrounding areas.

Subscriber Referral Program

We know you are excited about your internet service from Wildblue and will be telling your friends about it. We want to reward you for recommending our service to your friends, so here is the deal.

Download the Subscriber Referral Form and follow the instructions on the form it is very simple to do and is worth a $25.00 credit off your Wildblue Service for every person you refer to us that signs up for service.

You must be a current Prairie Energy Subscriber to take advantage of this promotion.

Product Protection Plan Now Available

Like any other electronic equipment, Wildblue has the possibility of needing replacement due to failure. Your Wildblue equipment was installed  with a 12-month replacement warranty.  The warranty covers only the equipment not the Service Call to repair or replace the equipment.

Prairie Energy Cooperative is now offering you a $5.00 per month Product Protection Plan provided by Television and Appliance Warranty Inc. (TAW) on your Wildblue equipment. This agreement will cover the Tria, Modem, Antenna, Power Supply and Labor. If after calling Tech Support it was determined that a service call was needed a Technician would be dispatched during regular business hours.  To be eligible for this Product Protection Plan you must notify us within 24 months of your install date.

 The warranty would not cover any equipment beyond the Wildblue modem such as but not limited to Routers, computers, printers, etc.  It would not cover any equipment damaged by misuse, neglect, weather or accident. The Warranty must be in place 90 days prior to being able to submitting a claim.  There is a $20.00 deductable on each claim submitted.
